This screen is for creation of information about Administrative Units within the University. For each unit enter a name and start date as well as the type of unit. An abbreviation can be assigned as well. Each unit must be within a college and may be within a larger unit. For example the English Department is within the College of Liberal Arts & Science. Obsolete units should be marked with an expiration date. Use Univ codes to record correlation with university systems codes. Use cost center to assign departments to groupings for calculation of student/faculty ratios.
