These screens give a quick overview of the steps required to add a new functional area to the system. All steps are performed using fourth generation software development tools. Many of the design decisions can be performed using a graphic interface. In addition all the design information is stored in a central database and thus is automatically documented and preserved. Reports and screens are generated from this design repository leading to consistent styles and well as removing redundant efforts.
